The AVA Badge

The Asian Voting Association badge was created to let Asian Americans know that a candidate or organization aligns with our mission. Our members and voters can have confidence that badge holders are a friend to the Asian Pacific Islander (API) Community.

Our approval process first involves documenting voting habits, sponsorships and decisions. Any parties that meet our screening method are sent a questionnaire to gauge pro-Asian legislation and action. Parties that score positively are then met by a board member for an in person meeting. We take pride in our commitment to speak face to face before passing our organization’s approval. The AVA cherishes its grassroots support and its stringent measures to determine the good will of any interested candidate or organization.
