Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a voice to the Asian community by supporting political candidates and organizations that will champion the needs and interests of Georgia’s Asian Americans.
Asian Americans have traditionally been a neglected people in GA politics. That changes today. Our population, voter participation rates and economic vigor are among the fastest growing among ethnic groups. We support candidates that acknowledge our strength and will bring issues that we care about to the forefront of society. Candidates should serve with their Asian constituents in mind.
Why AVA?
The Asian Voting Association (AVA) was created to unify Asian American voters and give an outlet to voice opinions and beliefs in order to shape a better Georgia. Now, more than ever, the Asian American voter holds great influence and power to shape elections. We believe in an organized voting association as it takes Asian Americans to properly reflect the priorities for Asian Americans.
